Coaching Solutions

Positive Solutions Coaching works with individuals and couples with three areas of focus:  

  1. Executive/Leadership/Management Coaching
  2. Life/Personal Coaching and Career Coaching
  3. Relationship/Couples/Marriage Coaching based on Gottman methods. (www.gottman.com/about-gottman-method-couples-therapy/).  I have completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

Each of these approaches identifies and builds on strengths to develop productive and constructive approaches to success in your endeavors.  I use a solution-focused philosophy with a goal of closing the gap between where you are and where you want to be.  Coaching methods utilize a Positive Psychology approach (www.ppc.sas.upenn.edu/) and will incorporate strategies, techniques and resources that have been tested via research and practice among skilled coaches and practitioners.  My training and experience as a coach and licensed clinical counselor provide the benefit of solution-focused and strengths-based coaching techniques while also being mindful of any emotional and behavioral concerns impacted by stress, anxiety, depression or ADD/ADHD. 

Coaching will consist of:

  1. Assessment using personal interviews supported by assessment tools and questionnaires;
  2. Identification of coaching Goals and desired outcomes;
  3. Development of Action Plans designed to achieve the identified goals and outcomes;
  4. Guidance and Support using:
    • strategic questions,
    • careful listening,
    • development of client insight and motivation,
    • recommendations for actions and changes designed to produce desired results, and
    • relevant homework reading and assignments.
  5. Reviews of progress and evaluation of goal achievement.

Coaching can be provided in person, by email or telephone, and via Skype.  Therefore you can be anywhere and we can maintain a coaching relationship.  For those interested in office visits I am available most mornings at 7:00 or 7:30 a.m. and in the evening on Mondays and Thursdays.
